NOW HIRING - DFSC Junior Instructors!
Qualifications Include:
o 16+ Years Old
o DFSC Membership w/ USFS Membership REQUIRED
o LTS USA Certification REQUIRED – including all required testing, background checks, etc.
o USFS ICE Certification Optional
o Passed Pre-Juvenile Skating Skills and/or Juvenile Moves Test
o Junior coaches will be assigned to a Staff Coach for their first season and are required to shadow their Staff Coach’s lessons twice a month.
o Assigned Staff Coach will determine the Junior Coach’s coachable level (the USFS Basic/FreeSkate level that the Junior Coach can coach until, ex: the coach can not have any students higher than Basic 3, then will need to be passed to a Staff Coach).
o Junior coaches MUST be available to instruct during the Deep Freeze Ice Arena Learn to Skate series throughout the season.
